nnnnAPPLICATION
nnnnThe Sterling SIHI AEH-X pump is a self-priming side channel pump
nnnncapable of handling gas along with the medium and operates at a
nnnnlow noise level.
nnnnThe AEH-X pumps, as per DIN EN 734, are used for problem-free
nnnnpumping of clean liquids at unfavourable suction side conditions.
nnnn(condensates, corrosive liquids, ...).
nnnnDifferent material possibilities with uniform dimensions and
nnnnperformance characteristics as well as the standard exchangeable
nnnncomponents are used for the construction. The AEH-X pumps are
nnnnparticularly recommendable in a wide application range in many
nnnnsectors such as:

nnnn• Petro-Chemical industry,

nnnnDESIGN
nnnnThe pumps of the SIHIp"me range are side channel pumps having
nnnnsegmental type construction.
nnnnThe program comprises, currently, 3 sizes each with 1-8 stages.
nnnnThe existing material design allows an optimum rating for the
nnnnrespectively desired performance range and the pumping medium.
nnnnThe applied hydraulic components are from our modular side
nnnnchannel system (interchangeability of parts).
nnnnCONSTRUCTION

nnnnMaximum 40 bar from - 40 °C up to +120 °C.
nnnnMaximum 32 bar from +120 °C up to +180 °C.
nnnnPressure stages for temperature as per DIN EN 1333.

nnnnTechnical rules and safety regulations:
nnnnCasing pressure = inlet pressure + delivery head at minimum pump
nnnncapacity.
nnnnPosition of branches
nnnnSuction and discharge branch point radially upwards.
nnnnFlanges
nnnnFlanges in accordance with DIN EN 1092-2 / PN 40.
nnnnFlange design as per DIN 2512 with groove or drilled according to
nnnnANSI 150 or 300 lbs is basically possible.
nnnnBearing
nnnnEither by a ball bearing and a liquid surrounded sleeve bearing
nnnn(design A) or by two ball bearings (design B). The ball bearings are
nnnnaccording to DIN 625 and greased for life.
nnnnRotation direction
nnnnClockwise, when looking at the pump from the drive end.
nnnnAnti-clockwise is possible.
nnnnShaft sealing
nnnnThe shaft is sealed by a mechanical seal according to DIN EN
nnnn12756, with quench connection.
nnnnThe shaft sealing is also available in a design suitable for heating or
nnnncooling of the mechanical seal and a double mechanical seal (back-
nnnnto-back as well as tandem) design is possible on request.
