Åkerströms’ Remotus Mercury receiver
line is modular and flexible—so it can
be customized for your specific needs.
The line consists of three basic models
that can be expanded using several
specially designed expansion cards for
various applications, a model with 16
outputs and a receiver for controlling
existing PLCs.
The Remotus Mercury line is designed
to provide the safety and reliability
required for wireless control in demanding industrial environments. The
Mercury receivers are delivered with
different encasings depending on the
operating environment. From flameresistant plastic to stainless steel.

MERCURY RECEIVERS
• Flexible modular design

The receivers work with all Remotus
Mercury transmitters and uses the
general frequency band 433-434 MHz
and licensed bands on request. The
receiver RX160 uses the frequency
bands 433-434 MHz, 863-870 MHz and
902-928 MHz alt. 2.4 GHz. It is possible
to maneuver several objects from the
same transmitter (multi-crane operation)
and to maneuver the same object from
several transmitters (multi-operator operation). The two-way communication
enables data transmission back to the
transmitter (operator).

Remotus Mercury products have double
security relays for controlling the main
contactor. The receiver has double
microprocessors that monitor each
other. A message is checked before the
relay function goes out into the receiver. Command errors don’t occur and
security increases. Diagnostic testing is
done during operation. The safety stop
function is approved according to PL d,
Cat 3, EN ISO 13849-1.

Flexible frequency
management.

The Remotus Mercury receiver is easy
to service and handle. During operation, users can read its comprehenseive
input- output command data logs. And
data logging can be customized. Continuous statistics collection simplifies
preventive maintenance.
