For more than 50 years, Åkerströms
Björbo AB has been developing professional remote control devices fulfilling
the specific needs of the industry and
the mobile market. Åkerströms’ Sesam
800 remote control series are designed
to provide the flexibility, reliability, ruggedness and ease-of-use required for nonsafety critical applications in demanding
industrial and mobile environments.
Sesam 800 Configurable is a robust configurable radio remote control system for
non-safety critical applications. The system is suitable for an infinite number of
applications. Some examples of common
usage areas are conveyor belts, water
pumps, anchor gears, various on and off
functions of fans and lights.

Configured by the transmitter.
The system has 6 configurable functions that are easily programmed as
momentary or remaining function by
the transmitter’s buttons. The system is
uncomplicated and based on modern
digital technology.

Automatic frequency selection.
Sesam 800 Configurable utilizes the 869
MHz frequency band with 12-channel
automatic frequency selection.

LED indicates contact.
The system has extremely fast response
time with a two-way radio technology
between transmitter and receiver. This
enables a relay feedback indicator on the
transmitter. A green LED on the transmitter indicates an active relay when contact
with the application. Checksums ensure
an error-free message transmission.

Protection class IP67.
The receiver is equipped with six
high-side solid-state relay switches and
a fibre-reinforced plastic housing for
tolerating extreme environments where
there are high demands on shock and
vibration sensitivity. The transmitter and
receiver are also of class IP 67, and can
be exposed to dust, humidity, and water
without interruptions. The transmitter
is equipped with a rubber edge guard
providing a good shock resistance.
