Introduction
Pyreos is pleased to present infra-red light emitters
(light sources) packaged in surface mount
compatible ceramic LCC packages.
With the
introduction of Pyreos surface mount compatible
sensors and now surface mount IR emitters it is now
possible to full automate the manufacture of gas
detection systems. The fast switching emitter in
LCC package has a small footprint and low profile.
The emitters offer pseudo-blackbody emission
properties, are capable of being modulated over a
wide frequency range, and can be controlled by
either the current or voltage supply. This emitter
includes an optional integrated FET and
temperature sensor to simplify drive electronics and
also stabilize emitter temperature and light output
during operation. Lifetime is exceptional when
operated at 550C Pyreos has a range of emitter
options available for packaging in this surface
mount compatible package and with different filter
window options
