Scalable Fabrication Process
Thin-Film Pyroelectric Technology
The unique thin-film pyroelectric technology owned and
perfected by Pyreos enables the fabrication of excellent
infrared sensors utilising semiconductor industry standard
processes. Developed over many years by Siemens GmbH,
the process has been commercialised by Pyreos enabling
sensor fabrication utilising semiconductor industry
standard processes.
Pyreos’s own thin-film pyroelectric sensor elements enable us to
produce excellent infrared sensors. Our packaged sensor range
has all the benefits of the core technology. All devices offer leading
thermal performance and mechanical strength on a complex yet
simple MEMS structure. In-house design expertise allows us to
create single-chip, multi -element designs such as our 128, 255
and 510 pixel line arrays.
