The ELASTOX®-R tube air diffuser was developed

by GVA as a membrane compressed-air system

nnnn

especially for water and sewage technology in

nnnn

1983.The design advantages as well as the low-

nnnn

buoyancy behaviour by floodable support tubes

nnnn

triggered the development of numerous similar

nnnn

systems based on this design principle. Up to

nnnn

now, the high quality and constantly good per-

nnnn

formance in permanent operation have gained

nnnn

great reputation worldwide.

In the course of time, design-related features and

nnnn

materials have steadily been optimised and

nnnn

advanced; however, the floodable support tube

nnnn

principle has stood the test of time.Typical appli-

Operational principle

Today the support body of the ELASTOX®-R tube

nnnn

air diffuser consists of a continuous injection-

nnnn

moulded component with integrated air feed and

nnnn

a stainless-steel threaded bush for fixing pur-

nnnn

poses.The structural design of the air diffuser has

nnnn

been designed in such a way that, as a rule, the

nnnn

exchangeability of the ceramic tube air diffuser

nnnn

0 40/70 is ensured. For special installation con-

nnnn

ditions, adapters can be provided.

nnnn

A great many oxygen admission tests on existing facilities

nnnn

have confirmed that ELAST0X®-R tube air diffuser take

nnnn

a leading position as to micro-bubble aeration systems.
