nnnnPlate air cliff user ELASTOX -P
nnnnApplication
nnnnThe latest generation of aerators, the
nnnnELASTOX®-P plate air diffuser, offered by us con-
nnnnstitutes a system component for sewage techno-
nnnnlogy based on our extensive know-how and long
nnnnyears of experience in the production and oper-
nnnnation of sewage treatment facilities. The result is
nnnnan aeration system that combines the advantages
nnnnof all previous systems, i.e.:
nnnn■ Low-buoyancy behaviour
nnnn■ Low piping requirement
nnnn■ Optimum gas admission properties
nnnn■ High oxygen utilization values
nnnn■ Long lifetime
nnnnDepending on the actual application and the basin
nnnngeometry, the ELASTOX®-P plate air diffuser can
nnnnbe applied for area, broadband or line aeration as
nnnnwell as aeration with separate circulation. Since
nnnnthe application of the area-type aeration is almost
nnnnindependent from the basin shape, also existing
nnnnbuildings can very well be re-equipped or retro-
nnnnfitted.
nnnnThe structural design of the ELASTOX®-P plate
nnnnair diffuser has been developed in such a way that,
nnnnas a rule, the tube air diffusers of 40/70 diameter
nnnncan be exchanged.Typical applications are the
nnnnfollowing:
nnnn■ Preservation aeration of waste water e.g.
nnnnin balancing tanks
nnnn■ Oxygenation in activation basins
nnnn■ Oxygenation for sludge stabilization
nnnn■ Aeration of rivers and lakes
nnnn■ Aeration of fish ponds
nnnn■ CO2 admission for neutralization
nnnnOperational principle
nnnnThe structural design of the support body bottom
nnnnsurface prevents the accumulation of gas volumes
nnnnbelow the air diffuser and reduces buoyancy by
nnnneffective degassing.
nnnnThe optimised perforation of the membrane in
nnnnconjunction with the degassing surface directed
nnnnupwards ensures a uniform coalescence-free gas
nnnnadmission with high oxygen utilisation co-
nnnnefficients.
nnnnIn case of pressure relief, the perforation of the
nnnnrubber membrane closes automatically and thus
nnnnprevents the ingress of liquid. Optionally, a flap
nnnntrap can be inserted between the air inlet connec-
nnnntion and the membrane, which additionally seals
nnnnthe air channels against liquid flowing back.
nnnnThe special membrane materials, developed
nnnnbased on long years of experience, were opti-
nnnnmized by numerous series of tests, and they are
nnnnexpected to have a long lifetime.
