nnnnFisher® 1080 Declutchable Manual Actuator
nnnnThe Fisher 1080 manual actuator is a Declutchable
nnnnActuator for manual operation of A41 double D shaft
nnnncontrol valves that use a 1035/El-O-Matic power
nnnnactuator. As shown in the following figure, the 1080
nnnnmanual actuator mounts directly on the 1035
nnnnactuator. It can be engaged to allow manual operation
nnnnof the valve when the power actuator is not in use or
nnnndisengaged to allow automatic operation of the valve
nnnnby the power actuator.
nnnnFeatures
nnnnDirect Attachment to the Power Actuator— Direct
nnnnmounting to the actuator housing simplifies
nnnninstallation and eliminates the need for additional
nnnnmounting parts.
nnnnEngage Manual Actuator At Any Point of Rotation—
nnnnA lever-operated eccentric bearing support on the
nnnninput shaft allows engagement of the worm gear
nnnnwith the sector at any point of rotation.
nnnnSimplified Selection— Each size of the 1080
nnnncorresponds to the capabilities of a size of the 1035.
nnnnSo you need only calculate the size of the 1035,
nnnnwhen ordering both a 1035 and 1080 (see table 1).
nnnnFisher 1080 Manual Actuator Mounted on a
nnnn1035/EI-O-Matic Actuator
nnnnPositive Operation— The disengagement lever is
nnnnheld in both the engaged and disengaged positions
nnnnby a spring-loaded pin, which must be released
nnnnbefore the lever can be moved. This reduces the
nnnnpossibility of inadvertent or accidental operation. In
nnnnaddition, stop-pins at the fully engaged and fully
nnnndisengaged positions provide positive limits for
nnnnlever travel.
