nnnnFisher® 2052 Diaphragm Rotary Actuator
nnnnFisher 2052 spring-and-diaphragm rotary actuators are
nnnnused on rotary-shaft valve bodies for throttling or
nnnnon-off applications. The 2052 may be used for
nnnnthrottling service with a positioner, or it may be used
nnnnfor on-off service without a positioner. The 2052 has an
nnnnISO 5211 mating interface that allows installation to
nnnnnon-Fisher valves. Refer to separate bulletins for valve
nnnnand positioner information.
nnnnFeatures
nnnn■ Compact design, smaller actuators- Ensures
nnnnreduced valve/actuator envelope dimensions
nnnnleading to greater mounting versatility for both
nnnnskids and process plants, where space is at a
nnnnpremium.
nnnn■ Compatible with DVC2000, DVC6200, and
nnnnDVC6000 digital valve controllers; and 3610J and
nnnn3620J positioners- The new actuator allows
nnnnlinkage-less feedback, via a contact-less magnetic
nnnnarray, from the lever to the end-mounted DVC2000.
nnnnIntegral window mounting of the DVC6200,
nnnnDVC6000, 3610J, and 3620J is also available.
nnnn■ Clamped lever to reduce lost motion- The clamping
nnnnof the lever onto a splined valve shaft, coupled with
nnnnthe single pivot linkage, reduces lost motion
nnnnbetween the actuator and the valve. The typical
nnnncumulative deadband for a Fisher rotary control
nnnnvalve assembly results in 0.5% or less variability.
nnnn■ No bench set required- The new nested spring
nnnndesign requires no bench set. This also simplifies the
nnnnactuator selection process, see table 3.
nnnn■ ISO 5211 mounting with optional insert- The
nnnnactuator can now be mounted directly onto
nnnnnon-spline shafts, such as Square and Double D. This
nnnnallows the actuator, with its enhanced control, to
nnnnmount on a wider range of valves conforming to ISO
nnnn5211.
nnnnFisher Control-Disk™ Valve with 2052 Actuator and
nnnnFIELDVUE™ DVC6200 Digital Valve Controller
nnnn■ Adjustable travel stops standard with optional
nnnnlockout feature- Provides the ability to adjust or
nnnnchange the travel range without removing the
nnnnactuator or the addition of extra parts. The optional
nnnnlockout feature locks the lever in the spring-fail
nnnnposition.
nnnn■ Fail-safe mechanism contains no aluminum- All
nnnnparts in the fail-safe mechanism (made of steel, cast
nnnniron, and ductile iron) ensure the actuator will
nnnnmaintain safety integrity in the event of a fire.
nnnn■ Powder paint as standard- The Emerson Process
nnnnManagement™ powder paint finish offers an
nnnnexcellent corrosion-resistant finish to all external
nnnnsteel and cast iron parts.
nnnn■ NAMUR VDE/VDI3845 for accessory mounting-
nnnnMeeting the global standard ensures compatibility
nnnnfor most accessories, enabling quick and easy
nnnnmounting.
nnnn■ Field reversible, right- or left-hand mounting- The
nnnnactuator/valve assembly action can be converted
nnnnfrom push-down-to-open to push-down-to-close, or
nnnnvice-versa, without additional parts.
nnnn■ Declutchable and top-mounted handwheels-
nnnnAvailable (except top-mounted not available for size
nnnn3 actuator).
