nnnnDesign
nnnnThe submerged agitator system is basically
nnnncomposed of a submerged geared motor, a
nnnnpropeller set, a guide component as well as a
nnnnguide sledge. The submerged geared motor is
nnnnpermanently attached to the guide sledge. The
nnnnguide component is of the twin-type design and
nnnnserves for submerging the agitator which is fixed
nnnnin the specified position. The patented shock
nnnnabsorbing system minimizes the changing loads
nnnnexerted on the agitator which are caused by
nnnnexternal flow influences. Due to this, the lifetime
nnnnof the drive is increased, and the detrimental
nnnneffects caused by alternating loads on stainless
nnnnsteel are reduced. The guiding device is
nnnnadditionally fitted with supports, and, thus, the
nnnnforces exerted are securely handled.
nnnnInstallation condition
nnnnSubmerged agitators are mostly applied in
nnnnstructures permitting closed horizontal flow
nnnnmovement due to their geometrical shape. In
nnnnaddition to circular and annular-shaped basins,
nnnnthey also include trenches and circulation ditches.
nnnnSince, as a rule, the basins where submerged
nnnnagitators are used cannot be emptied, the
nnnninstallation has to be carried out in such a manner
nnnnthat the removal from the basin is possible from
nnnna safe place. Moreover, the arrangement depends
nnnnon the basin's geometrical parameters and size.
nnnnStationary and mobile lifting devices can be
nnnnsupplied at request.
nnnnFor ensuring complete flow efficiency, no
nnnndisturbing internal components should be
nnnnmounted, if possible, in the suction and pressure
nnnnsection of the agitator. With combined application
nnnnwith an aeration system a sufficient minimum
nnnndistance ist to be also guaranteed to the aeration.
nnnnIf the agitators are not used in permanent
nnnnoperation, due to process reasons, soft start-up
nnnnor FU operation is required.
