nnnnThe P31 Series offers an optional
nnnninternal seal flush to extend operating
nnnntemperature to 250°F.
nnnnIntegrated Relief Valve
nnnnP31 Pumps are available with or
nnnnwithout a built-in relief valve*. The relief
nnnnvalve temporarily protects against dan-
nnnngerous over-pressure. All relief valves
nnnnare preset at the factory to your specifi-
nnnncations (60 to 100 psi range available).
nnnnAt the specified relief valve setting, the
nnnnflow will fully by-pass from the outlet to
nnnnthe inlet through the relief valve cham-
nnnnber. The specified relief valve setting is
nnnnan average; individual pumps will vary
nnnnboth above and below the specified
nnnnsetting. The relief valve actually cracks
nnnnopen and begins to by-pass flow at
nnnnapproximately 50 psi below the relief
nnnnvalve setting. The standard relief valve
nnnnis made of a special high temperature
nnnnplastic.
nnnnOptional Motor Capabilties
nnnnAll P31 pumps can fit onto ultra com-
nnnnpact 36 Frame UL and CE approved
nnnnmotors, as well as Standard MTH dual
nnnnface motors. Optional motors with
nnnnhigher horsepowers, solid state start-
nnnning, TEFC enclosures, and 3 phase
nnnncapabilities are also available.
