The Spider-III IX210 Embedded Linux computer supports RS232, RS422, RS485
and a 10/100 Mbit Ethernet interfaces. Further available are a SD card slot for
standard SD cards, a USB host, a USB device interface and optional digital inputs and outputs and analog inputs. The fanless IX210 has a very low power
consumption and a robust design for industrial applications.
Fast and easy integration in industrial environments
IX210 is an ARM based industrial embedded Linux based computing platform. The integrated serial RS232 and RS422/485 interfaces enable the
integration of industrial devices like inverters in solar energy plants,
power generators, electricity meters, air conditioning systems, ventilation
systems, sensors, weighing machines and many other industrial devices.
Easy integration into a Modbus, BACnet or SNMP environment is provided
by appropriate libraries and software packages. An exchangeable SD card
offers up to several Gigabytes of nonvolatile mass storage space for
universal usage. It can be used for databases, for data logging or even for
larger programs or libraries. All common file formats like FAT, FAT32,
ext2, ext3, among others, are supported.
Flexible programmable platform
The IX210 Linux platform C/C++ programming is supported by a standard
GCC toolchain with Glibc library. Script programs are supported as well as
a Java runtime machine among other languages. Application programs
benefit from the numerous protocols, servers and clients already available
for instantaneous use. A CGI enabled webserver supports webbased applications, data transfer can comfortably be done by ftp transfer and data
management is supported by the SQL database system SQLite.
