The Axotec Spider-III CX335 Embedded Linux computer supports a CAN-Bus
interface, as well as RS232 interfaces and a 10/100 Mbit Ethernet interface.
Integrated GSM/GPRS or UMTS/HSDPA functionality enables the wireless
datatransfer. Even bigger amounts of data and programs can be stored on a
standard SD card. Optional digital inputs and outputs and analog inputs can
be used for input of additional process data.
SocketCAN and CANOpen library support
CX335 is an ARM based industrial embedded Linux based computing platform. The integrated CAN bus interface is supported by a SocketCAN as
well as by a CANopen library for software integration with minimal effort.
The integrated GSM/GPRS or UMTS/HSDPA module enables online datatransfer via the Internet. An exchangeable SD card offers up to several
Gigabytes of nonvolatile mass storage space for universal usage. It can be
used for databases, for data logging or even for larger programs or libraries. All common file formats like FAT, FAT32, ext2, ext3, among others,
are supported.
Flexible programmable platform
The C/C++ programming is supported by a standard GCC toolchain with
Glibc library. Script programs are supported as well as a Java runtime
machine. Application programs benefit from the numerous protocols,
servers and clients already available for instantaneous usage. A CGI enabled webserver supports webbased applications, data transfer can comfortably be done by ftp transfer and data management is supported by the SQL
database system SQLite.
