Microcylinders according to standard ISO 6432 Series 1200
nnnnGeneral
nnnnMicrocylinders are the most widespread linear actuators in common use due to their reduced dimensions. They can be applied
nnnnin the most varied of sectors, from packaging to textiles, from woodworking machines to the ceramic sector and so on.
nnnnStarting from these premises we have designed a light and sturdy component of pleasing appearance realized in three version:
nnnnwith threaded end covers, rolled end covers and rolled end covers with all components stainless steel.
nnnnThreaded end covers version: hard anodized aluminium end covers, threaded into the anodized aluminium barrel. Bores
nnnnfrom diameter 8 to 25mm. are made according to ISO 6432, while the diameters 32, 40 and 50 out of norms are produced to
nnnncomplete the range.
nnnnStarting from this base, we have derived the special designs which we are describing herebelow:
nnnn• single-acting with front or rear spring (max. stroke 40 mm; for longer strokes the length increase is not proportional to
nnnnthe stroke in order to provide lodging for the spring);
nnnn• double and single-acting with flat bottom instead of clevis;
nnnn• push-pull rod;
nnnn• hexagonal non-rotating rod;
nnnn• stainless steel rod on all versions;
nnnn• THERBAN® seals on all versions for high temperature operations (120°C max);
nnnn• microcylinders with magnetic piston (from 010 to 0 50)
nnnn• stationary rubber cushions (standard);
nnnn• adjustable cushions (from 016 to 050).
nnnn"MIR", rolled end covers version: hard aluminium end covers, rolled on the AISI 304 stainless steel barrel, magnetic piston
nnnnand standard AISI 303 piston rod on all versions. Also for these microcylinders, bores from diameter 8 to 25mm are made
nnnnaccording to ISO 6432, while diameters 32 out of norms is completing the range.
nnnnStarting from this base, we have derived the special designs which we are describing herebelow:
nnnn• single-acting with front or rear spring (max. stroke 50 mm; for longer strokes the length increase is not
nnnnproportional to the stroke in order to provide lodging for the spring);
nnnn• double and single-acting with flat bottom instead of clevis;
nnnn• push-pull rod;
nnnn• chromed stainless steel piston rod, compulsory on piston rod locking version;
nnnn• THERBAN® seals on all versions for high temperature operations (120°C max);
nnnn• stationary rubber cushions (standard);
nnnn• adjustable cushions (from 016 to 032).
nnnn'MIR-INOX",stainless steel rolled end covers version: this version is very similar to previous one for technical and
nnnnassembling characteristics, but all componenets are stainless steel.
nnnnBores from 016 to 025 are made according to ISO 6432 while diameter 32 out of norms is completing the range.
nnnnThe production of a stainless steeel cylinder is requested for particular working ambiences where resistance to hard chemicals
nnnnconditions is necessary (zoothecnics, chemicals); at the same chemical neutrality must be guaranted (food industry, medicals).

nnnnand implementation of technologically advanced, competitive products we have introduced the 1230 series of technopolymer
nnnnbodied microcylinders. This new cylinder complies with IS06432 and has operational characteristics similar to the Mir (1280)
nnnnseries cylinder with rolled end covers.
nnnnOne of the main features of this cylinder is the material of construction.
nnnnIn fact, the end covers and barrel are made from a technopolymer reinforced with glass fiber, giving mechanical qualities similar
nnnnto those of aluminium.
nnnnThe use of technopolymer also allows the use of these cylinders in environments that are incompatible with aluminium.
