Replacements for 3000 Series Transducers
The older 3000 Series proximity transducers have “system lengths” in feet (15 ft. or 20 ft.) not meters and must
match the driver “system length”. However, the probes and cables are measured in inches. The probe physical
length in inches is doubled and matched to the extension cable for the “system length”. For your convenience, see
the table of standard probe & cable lengths beneath the Extension Cable listing on this page.
All proximity transducers have third party approvals, comply with API 670 Specications, and feature ProxMatchTM
component coding to assure proper matching of components.

Special instructions for the 3000 Series only:
The above table is for your convenience in selecting the
correct cable length for the probes lengths listed.
To nd cable lengths for probe lengths not listed,
double the probe’s desired physical length in
inches, and subtract that from either 180 inches (for a
15 ft. system) or from 240 inches (for a 20 ft. system)
to get the correct extension cable length. Don’t blame
us. We did not dream up this scheme.
