SPHERE® is a smart ATEX pressure sensing technology. Thanks to a very low
power consumption, the SPHERE® is either available as a conventional wired
device or as a fully autonomous wireless sensor. The product line is easy to
operate and allows a quick and efficient insertion of multiple adjustable
measurement points.

Successful applications rely as much on satisfactory metrological performances as on hardware’s robustness & ease of use. This is why the
SPHERE® product benefits from a high accuracy calibration process. Sensors are available through several mounting options (screwed
on the main pipe or positioned in a by-pass loop), featuring analog or
digital communication, depending on their final destination: lab, process, or OEM. Different ranges are available from very low pressure.
Acquisition frequency 1 Hz
Response time < 1 sec
Sealing Viton ©, Kalrez © (option)
Wetted parts Stainless Steel 316L, Inconel, Hastelloy (option)
The SPHERE® product line features optional ATEX compliant RF communication, using the fully autonomous Mirage® components. This add-on
makes the SPHERE® an excellent wireless candidate for versatile or remote applications.

1. The pressure range can be reduced down to 0 - 200 mbar, depending on application's requirements.
2. Indicated performances have been obtained in controlled laboratory conditions using sensor's digital output. In practice, additional inaccuracy might arise due to application's conditions, use of the analog
mode, fluid characteristics..
Measuring pressure is often required
Industrial environments do not benefit from laboratory temperature
and pressure regulations and aiming to compare what happens on the
process to what is actually measured on the bench requires to compensate for pressure and temperature changes. As an example, the density
of a natural gas acquired by monitoring a pipeline shall be compared at
15°C, 1bar to meet ISO 15970 requirements.
