CARATTERISTICHE PRINCIPALI
L’indicatore da pannello serie DM20 è uno strumento,
di dimensioni 48 x 96 mm orizzontale per montaggio a
pannello, destinato alla visualizzazione digitale a 3 o
3½ cifre (13,5mm) di grandezze industriali quali
tensione, corrente, temperatura, R.H., pressione,
posizione, ecc. Esso può accettare in ingresso
direttamente i trasduttori di misura oppure segnali
normalizzati in corrente (0÷20 mA, 4÷20 mA)
o tensione (0÷1, 0÷5, 0÷10Vdc).
Oltre l’indicazione, questi strumenti possono essere
provvisti di due punti di intercettazione selezionabili su
tutta la scala. A questo fine sono previste sul frontale
due manopole dotate di un micro-switch interno che
permettono di impostare e visualizzare i set points.
Normalmente ogni manopola si trova in posizione di
folle, così ruotandola non viene alterato il set point.
Premendola si commuta la visualizzazione e
contemporaneamente viene ingranato il meccanismo di
trascinamento del potenziometro interno.
In tal modo si evita ogni possibilità di modificare i punti
di intercettazione senza rendersene conto.
Le applicazioni di questi strumenti toccano tutti i settori
industriali.
Le caratteristiche costruttive dello strumento
rispondono alle norme DIN43700, VDE0110, UL508.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
The panel meter DM20 series is an horizontal 48 x 96
mm panel mounting instrument suited for digital
3 or 3 and ½ digits (13,5mm) display of industrial
variables as temperature, voltage, current, R.H.,
position, pressure, ecc.
It can be connected directly to the transducers or to
standard current (0÷20 mA 4÷20 mA )
or voltage (0-1, 0-5, 0-10Vdc) signal transmitters .
In addition to the display function, these instruments are
able to support up to two set points selectables over the
entire range.
For the setting, two frontal knobs equiped with an
internal micro-switch allow the display and the setting of
respective set point.
Normally the knobs are in idle position.
So turning them there is not set point change.
Pressing the knob the display is switched and at the
same time the turning gear of internal potentiometer is
engaged.
In this manner any unrealized set change is protected.
Applications of this serie span all industry sectors and
necessity.
Engineering characteristics are conformal to standards
DIN 43700, VDE 0110, UL 508.

In entrambi i casi è presente una compensazione delle non-linearità
tale da garantire un errore inferiore a due digits.
In caso di rottura della sonda l’uscita viene disattivata.
Tensione:
Tensioni continue o alternate. Impedenza >1 MΩ.
(da µV fino a centinaia di V, es. 0÷1Vdc o 0÷250Vac).
-Corrente: Correnti continue o alternate. Impedenza <10 Ω.
(da µA fino ad ampere, es. 0÷20mAdc o 0÷5Aac).
-Potenziometro: Valore resistivo min. 100 Ohm. Le indicazioni ad
inizio scala ed a fondo scala possono essere richieste come
necessario e variate tramite due trimmer di taratura (min - MAX).

INPUT:
-Thermocouples:
All the types as standard DIN 43710.
-Resistance thermometer: Pt 100 as a standard DIN 43760.
For thermocouples and resistance thermometers there is non linearity
compensation so that error is better than two digits.
Break-junction protection deenergizes the output relay.
-Voltage:
Continuos or alternate voltages. Impedence >1 MΩ.
(from µV to hundreds V, ie. 0÷1Vdc o 0÷250Vac).
-Current:
Constant or olternate currents. Impedence <10 Ω.
(from µA to ampere, e.g. 0÷20mAdc o 0÷5Aac).
-Potentiometer: Min. resistance value 100 Ohm.
Beginning and full scale indication can be made on request and
changed by adjustment trimmers.

-Nota: mediante l’aggiunta di un modulo apposito è possibile
estendere la gamma degli ingressi oltre i 5 tipi descritti.
Trattandosi di una aggiunta allo strumento base è possibile
interfacciare pressoché qualsiasi segnale analogico, ad es. straingauges, LVDT, sensori a resistenza, celle PH, ecc.

-Note: thanks to an added electronic circuit an extension of preceding
five input types range is possible.
Being an extension of standard instrument, almost any analog signal
can be interfaced e.g. ac voltage and current, strain gauges, LVDT,
resistance transducers, PH cells, etc.

REGOLAZIONE: ON-OFF con isteresi regolabile.
La soglia di scatto può esser selezionata su tutta la scala tramite
manopola frontale a dieci giri.

FEED-BACK:
ON-OFF action with adjustable hysteresis.
Relay change-over point can be setted over the entire range by ten
turns frontal knob.
