nnnn¡ntell¡5G4A/® series scan heads offer advantages such as digital
nnnnservo circuitry, whose powerful algorithms can boost both dyna-
nnnnmic performance and marking quality. In addition, the electronics
nnnnextensively enhance the range of diagnosis possibilities as well as
nnnncommunication between the scan system and the customer's con-
nnnntrol computer.
nnnnSCANLAB can equip its digital servo firmware with multiple con-
nnnntrol algorithms and parameter sets. Switching between different
nnnnalgorithms or sets (even during processing) allows scan head dy-
nnnnnamics etc. to be reconfigured and thereby optimally adapted to
nnnnparticular task requirements.
nnnnintelli5G4/V® scan heads allow real-time monitoring of all key
nnnnoperational states of the scan system, such as mirror positions,
nnnnmirror speeds, drive currents, supply voltage and temperature.
nnnnAs a result, the scan process can be simulated or - especially in
nnnnsafety-critical applications - monitored, logged and modified if
nnnnrequired.
nnnnScan heads of the intelli5G4/V® series also create new remote-
nnnndiagnosis possibilities. They have the necessary facilities to support
nnnnsoftware-querying of accumulated operating hours, serial number,
nnnndate-of-manufacture and essential operational states. Thus, devia-
nnnntions can be quickly detected and corrected.
nnnnintelliSC4A/de® is the high-end member of this scan head series.
nnnnUsing galvanometer scanners with digital encoders, the
nnnnintelliSC4A/de® features remarkably low drift and dither values,
nnnnmaking it ideal for high-end applications.
