Double puller - extrusion industry equipment0 pages
Does a simpler puller
exist?
Anyone claiming that a double puller is
nothing new will now recognise that the
principle of 2-puller could not have been
developed easier. REISCH combines the
know-how from parts of the ropeway
technology and parts of the special machine construction to form a totally new
concept, consisting of a verticallysuspended puller car driven by ropes.
Double Puller
also with flying saw
Contrary to the popular lateral arrangeme
nt, the suspended version results in
a quiet, even, and vertical movement entir
ely without any torsion. On crossing,
the two cars merely need to move the
gripper arms in vertical direction.
Simple construction
Stiff simple track with few supports
The additional use of the flying saw (simultaneously an additional puller) in conjunction with the double pulle
r has proved to
reduce the scrap rate considerably, in this way increasing producti
vity. The sawing position is controlled so that the cutting process
takes place at the welding mark. In order to obtain an equivalent
effect, the run-out table would otherwise have to be doubled which
- if at all possible - would incur considerably higher costs.
