nnnnOverview_
nnnnThe NI 9208 Measurement System measures 16 current channels at 500 S/s with 24-bit resolution, sending data to a host PC over
nnnnUSB, Ethernet or 802.11 Wi-Fi.
nnnnMeasurement Bundle Overview
nnnnThe hardware for an NI CompactDAQ single measurement bundle consists of a USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 W-Fi chassis and one of
nnnnover 50 NI C Series measurement-specific modules. These small rugged bundles are ideal for portable or distributed measurements.
nnnnChassis
nnnnThe chassis controls the timing for the module and handles communication with the PC over the USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 W-Fi bus.
nnnnAdditionally, all NI CompactDAQ chassis include four counter/timers that you can access through a digital I/O module like the NI 9401.
nnnnModule
nnnnThe NI 9208 current input C Series module has 16 channels of ±21 mA input with built-in 50/60 Hz rejection for noise rejection.
nnnnDesigned with industrial systems in mind, the NI 9208 has high-channel density to reduce the number of modules needed. This leaves
nnnnslots open for other measurement types or for reducing the overall per channel cost of the system.
nnnnThe NI 9208 has a standard 37-pin D-SUB connection for use with cables and connector blocks, or the NI 9933 D-SUB connector kit.
nnnnThe NI 9933 contains a D-SUB to screw terminal accessory as well as a protective shell. With this kit, you can create a custom cable
nnnnthat plugs directly into the module to eliminate the need for a separate terminal block.
