Overview

The Nl Embedded Vision System is a fanless controller that combines industrial camera connectivity and open communication with

the high performance and flexibility of a multicore processor.

The Nl EVS-1464 is designed to process images from multiple GigE Vision and IEEE 1394 cameras. The Windows 7 operating

system makes it possible to develop and modify inspections from the deployment hardware and to integrate with other software

programs on the platform.

With a high isolated and TTL I/O count, FPGA-enabled digital I/O, fast multicore processor performance, and 2 GB RAM, the

EVS-1464 can synchronize with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human machine interfaces (HMIs), and motion controllers for

more complex, higher-speed inspections that incorporate operator interaction.

Like all Nl vision hardware, you can configure the EVS-1464 using Nl Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (Al) featuring its

easy-to-use, menu-driven environment or the Nl Vision Development Module combined with LabVIEW and text-based environments

for applications that require a programmatic solution.
