nnnnThe Alligator* Plastic Rivet fastener system offers
nnnnthe unique ability of being mechanically applied
nnnnwith a portable installation tool, in addition to other
nnnnnon-metallic features such as: non-scratching,
nnnnnon-magnetic, and a quiet splice as it operates over
nnnnconveyor components. The hinged splice allows for
nnnnusers to remove the hinge pin for easy belt cleaning
nnnnor installation onto the conveyor system with
nnnnminimal dismantling. The features of the Alligator
nnnnPlastic Rivet system make it a low-cost alternative to
nnnnthe time and expense associated with vulcanization.
nnnnKey features of the Alligator Plastic Rivet fastener include rivets
nnnnmolded into the top plate for a smooth and flat cleaning surface,
nnnnbeveled front edge of fastener for easy transition over conveyor
nnnncomponents, and countersunk installed rivets.
nnnnWith three color choices available, select the fastener that best fits your
nnnnneeds for applications from -20°F to 180°F (-29°C to 82°C).
nnnnBlack: UV-resistant for extended life in outdoor applications.
nnnnWhite: FDA-accepted material resists weak acids, alkali,
nnnnhydrocarbons, ester solvents, and alcohols.
nnnnBlue: FDA-accepted material with the same resistance as the white
nnnnoffering but colored blue to match blue belts used in many
nnnnfood applications.
