nnnnPortable DICOM Images With Component Records"
nnnnr
nnnnAn inexpensive way to easily produce,
nnnntransport and view full-fidelity DICOM
nnnnimages with component records and reports.
nnnnToday's Radiography Departments spend a lot
nnnnof money, time, and space supporting
nnnnradiographers and interpreters. Everyday, they
nnnnhave to produce hundreds of films and reports
nnnnfor interpreters to review. Reproducing films
nnnncan be costly and time consuming, while
nnnndiminishing the image quality. Producing
nnnnoriginal films requires tracking the bulky
nnnnimages and relinquishing control. Retrieving
nnnnthem may prove tedious. And web-based
nnnnversions of reviewing full-fidelity images have
nnnnmultiple limitations.
nnnnRADinfo Systems addresses these concerns with
nnnnDynamIX Image Share, a low cost, simplified
nnnnprocess to create CDs containing diagnostic
nnnnquality images, reports and component records
nnnnEnd users can view the CD on any Microsoft
nnnnWindows PC without loading additional software
nnnn(DICOM viewer included). The CD's user interface
nnnnwas designed with the technician in mind, so it's
nnnnvery intuitive and user acceptable.
nnnnDynamIX Image Share consists of a PC work-
nnnnstation and a multi-CD Generator, which
nnnnproduces individual CDs. CD Generators range
nnnnin size and capacity depending on
nnnnfacility needs.
nnnnDynamIX Image Share
nnnnDynamIX Image Share can connect to the RIS to acquire key component information,
nnnnplus the DICOM network for access to all DICOM modalities, image archive servers
nnnnor film digitizers. It can also operate as a stand-alone workstation connected
nnnndirectly to a film digitizer. To create a CD, simply "drag and drop" any study from a
nnnncomponent Worklist window into the CD Content window and press "Cut CD." It's
nnnnthat simple. The high-speed CD Generator writes full CDs in minutes and custom
nnnnprints facility logos and unique study identifiers on each CD. So there's no need to
nnnnmanually create labels. When a modality (including film digitizer) is used to
nnnngenerate image studies, users will never have to retype component information with
nnnnthe DICOM Worklist Manager enabled. With DynamIX Image Share, Radiography
nnnnDepartments can now centralize hundreds of images and component records into
nnnnone CD for a fraction of the cost of producing films and reports.
