Dual Channel (Duplex) Insertion Loss Measurement
The OP815D is ideal for measuring Insertion loss (IL) on duplex
fiber optical components is measured fast and accurately. The
insertion loss is measured by utilizing the built in stabilized laser
or LED source in combination with the precision optical power
meter. Both channels are measured simultaneously such that a
dual channels IL measurement is completed in less than 1 second.
Like all other OptoTest equipment the OP815D supports the
USB interface. The OPL-Pro turnkey application software fully
integrates this instrument into the data acquisition process of the
highly efficient production line.
