nnnnOndax's PowerLocker® wavelength stabilization gratings are volume
nnnnholographic gratings (VHGs) that "lock" a laser diode's emission
nnnnwavelength into a narrowed optical spectrum. This increases the
nnnnspectral brightness and delivers highly stablized optical performance
nnnnover extended temperature ranges. PowerLockers® typically reduce
nnnnthe spectral output of a laser by an order of magnitude. The short
nnnnexternal cavity configurations enabled by the PowerLocker® design
nnnndeliver better mode selection than systems based on Littrow or
nnnnLittman cavities, at a fraction of the size and cost.
nnnnAll Ondax VHGs are bulk "solid-state" diffractive holographic filters,
nnnnwhich unlike thin films or gels, can deliver ultra-stable, degradation-
nnnnfree performance for the lifetime of the filter. Capable of very tight
nnnnwavelength, efficiency, bandwidth, and diffraction angle control,
nnnnOndax VHGs can be precisely and reproducibly engineered to meet
nnnneven the most demanding spectral and temporal specifications.
nnnnProprietary materials, manufacturing and test processes ensure
nnnnconsistent, repeatable performance from every single filter, every
nnnntime, guaranteed.
