VeriTec GPC Counter
Convenient counter displays
critical production line data
in real time to help measure
and manage productivity.
Nordson’s VeriTec™ brand GPC counter provides on-line
monitoring of production activity. The versatile counter
can also support a computer interface for exporting
data, and an output for a kicker or marker to physically
separate batches.
Unlike single display units, the microprocessor-based
GPC simultaneously monitors and displays cumulative
data for total products, batch count, and the rate for
production and machine speed.
Production statistics to assess line efficiency and output are
available at a glance. The GPC also features data acquisition
capability via a RS232C interface that allows you to capture the
information necessary for satisfying ISO 9000 requirements or
documenting productivity.
A high-accuracy, digitally controlled output accepts AC or DC
kicker units. Specifically, these include industry-standard AC
or high-speed, over-energized DC power. The GPC supports
pneumatic kickers for folder gluers or electric kickers for folding
machines. In lieu of a kicker, the counter accepts a spray marking
system to visually identify batches.
Flexible counter simplifies productivity
management.
I Real-time counter reports total products, batch count
and rate.
I Large, LED displays are easily read for quick reference.
I Total products display shows cumulative product pieces
processed since the last reset.

I Batch display shows number of product batches being run.
Batch size is easily preset and remains in memory, eliminating
the need to re-enter the size for each production run.
I Selectable rate display shows on-line production rate in
thousands per hour or machine speed in meters per minute.
Operators can change views from production to machine
speed at the touch of a button.
I Photocell options include a forked-interrupter photocell
or proximity sensor to meet specific operating preferences.
Leading- or trailing-edge detection is easily set from the front
panel.
I Optional RS232C interface connects to a computer or
serial printer for generating ISO 9000 or productivity
documentation.
I Non-volatile memory stores all presets and count data
even when the device is powered off.
I Durable steel cabinet stands up to harsh manufacturing
environments.
I Shelf- or pole-mount design provides installation
flexibility for best viewing location.
