The information in this section will assist the design engineer in the selection of the ball bearing products
that best suit critical application requirements for performance, life and cost. Early involvement by NMB Sales
and Application Engineers is recommended. Engineering support services available from the company’s engineering
laboratories are described together with special testing capabilities.
Size, materials, component parts and lubrication alternatives are discussed in this section. These are followed by
a detailed analysis of the important considerations which should be evaluated simultaneously when choosing the
