Description and Operation
Do you need a cost-effective way to control trailer braking?
Typical trailer braking systems transfer a vehicle's hydrau-
lic brake pressure directly to the trailer brakes. Unregulat-
ed braking pressure of the trailer will cause wheel lock-up
and drastically shorten tire life. The MICO® Load Appor-
tioning Valve (LAV) senses the trailer load and regulates
the trailer brake pressure. This eliminates wheel lock-up
and unnecessary tire wear. The MICO® LAV is designed
to keep the complexity and cost of the brake circuit to a
minimum. For use with mineral base hydraulic oil only.

• No tank port required
• Eliminates the necessity for complex braking circuitry
• Input pressure range from 0 to 150 bar (0 to 2176 PSI)
