The NI 9203 Measurement System measures 8 current channels at 200 kS/s with 16-bit resolution, sending data to a host PC over

USB, Ethernet or 802.11 Wi-Fi.

Measurement Bundle Overview

The hardware for an NI CompactDAQ single measurement bundle consists of a USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 W-Fi chassis and one of

the over 50 NI C Series measurement-specific modules. These small rugged bundles are ideal for portable or distributed

measurements.

Chassis

The chassis controls the timing for the module and handles communication with the PC over the USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 W-Fi bus.

Additionally, all NI CompactDAQ chassis include four counter/timers that you can access through a digital I/O module like the NI 9401.

The NI 9203 C Series data acquisition module includes eight analog current input channels for high-performance control and

monitoring applications. It features programmable input ranges of ±20 mA or 0 to 20 mA, 16-bit resolution, and a 200 kS/s maximum

sampling rate. To protect against signal transients, the NI 9203 includes a channel-to-earth ground double isolation barrier (250 Vrms

nnnn

isolation) for safety and noise immunity.

The NI 9203 module is shipped with screw terminals for signal wire connection. You can purchase extra screw terminal connections

nnnn

as replacements or spares. In addition, for strain relief, high-vibration applications, and high-voltage safety, a plastic backshell is

nnnn

available to secure and protect the signal wire connections. The backshell kit, the NI 9932, is sold separately.
