Lead Wool or Lead Plate Lined

MarShield has 35 years of experience in the manufacturing of lead radiation
shielding products and can supply any configuration of lead blankets to best
suit your needs. Ideal for many temporary or permanent applications within the
oil and gas, uranium and medical industry.

KEY FEATURES
•t MarShieldlead blankets are available with lead wool, or lead plate.
•t Custom sizes are available. Blankets can be stacked together for added protection.
•t Lead wool allows more flexibility in handling, consisting of fine strands of lead from
0.005” to 0.015” diameter of varying length.
•t Lead cake is quilted to the inner cover to ensure no shifting.
•t Inner covers are fabricated from nuclear grade and ANI-approved material.
•t The periphery is glued, double-stitched and features # 5 brass grommets, spaced
as required.
•t Lead blankets are available in vinyl laminated nylon sheeting (125oF max.) and
silicon-impregnated fiberglass (500oF max.).
•t Standard color of vinyl-laminated cover is yellow, white or green. Custom colors are
available.
•t Meets or exceeds Federal Specification QQ-C-40 Type II Grade C.
