KREISEL
VertiFeed
The KREISEL VertiFeed works on the airlift principle. It is designed for the vertical transport
of bulk solids. The structure of the VertiFeed is designed simple, which makes it attractive
for processes which requested a high availability on the vertical pneumatic transport.
The operating principle is as follows: the conveying gas, usually provided by blower, flows
from below into the VertiFeed. The cylindrical body of the VertiFeed is nearly filled with bulk
solid. In the bottom area, the bulk solid is fluidized in order to achieve a uniform flow to
the centre of the VertiFeed to the conveying pipe. The incoming conveying gas leaves with
high-speed the conveying gas nozzle and captures the flowing bulk solid and transports it
into the vertical conveying pipe. Heights up to 150 m, at conveying rates up to 1000 t / h,
can be obtained with the VertiFeed. The feeding is normally realized via airslides. The conveying principle is continuous.
