The KA24 Combined-Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) features the superior GT24 gas
turbine offering unrivalled versatility, cost savings, reliability and performance.
The latest GT24 gas turbine is the fourth evolutionary development stage since
its introduction to the 60 Hz market featuring higher base-load and
part-load performance, lower emissions and significantly lower cost of electricity.
With its unique sequential combustion technology, annular combustors and
welded rotor design, the GT24 based KA24 advanced-class CCPP for the 60 Hz market
is particularly suited for load balancing energy production.
Furthermore Alstom’s innovative online switchable operation mode between
Performance Optimised and Maintenance Cost Optimised delivers up to 30%
more operation time between scheduled inspections, resulting in higher availability
and lower maintenance costs.
