The pioneer in operational flexibility
With the KA26 Combined-Cycle Power Plant (CCPP), Alstom is showcasing
its operational flexibility and best plant efficiency across the entire load range
answering customers’ needs wanting versatile solutions. Featuring unique
sequential combustion technology, annular combustors and welded rotor design,
the GT26 based KA26 advanced-class CCPP for the 50 Hz market delivers
high efficiency at conventional firing temperatures achieving lower emissions.
For the first time in an advanced-class engine, the GT26 gas turbine incorporates
an innovative online switchable operation mode between performance optimisation
and maintenance cost optimisation that creates up to 30% longer operation
time between scheduled inspections, resulting in higher availability and lower
maintenance costs.

HIGH OUTPUT and EFFICIENCY

60% efficiency and above in combined-cycle

START-UP TIME
30 minutes hot start-up and a 15 minute
spinning reserve delivering 350 MW
for a KA26-1 configuration and 700 MW
for a KA26-2 configuration.
