The support post serves as a support
and cushion when the barrier arm
moves into the horizontal position.
It is made from aluminium profiles
of 60 x 60 x 4 mm and 50 x 50 x 4
mm that are finished with a powder
coating (textured coating).
The support post is telescopic (1),
adjustable in height from 600 mm
up to 1,000 mm, and two stainless
steel screws provide a simple locking
mechanism.
The support fork (3) is equipped with
a 2 mm anti-rattle piece (4) to ensure
smooth landing of the barrier arm.
The base plate (5) contains four
18 mm holes for anchorage to the
ground.
A support post with an
electromagnet provides an extra
locking mechanism for the barrier
arm in horizontal position. The
electromagnetic support post
is constructed according to the
specifications of a standard support
post.
The magnet is installed onto the
support fork. A highly magnetic
counter plate is mounted onto the
barrier arm.
A cable connection (6) between the
barrier cabinet and the support
post is provided via an opening in
the base plate (5). (2 x 1.5 mm2 +
earthing).
The pendulum support serves
to provide maximum use of the
passageway. It is attached to the
barrier arm and moves along with it.
The pendulum support (1) is made of
aluminium (Ø 30 mm x 2.5 mm) and
a hinge mechanism (2) attaches it to
the counter plate of the barrier arm.
The far end of the pendulum support
is equipped with a rubber base and
an o-ring (3) for silent and cushioned
landing.
This option is available for octagonal
and rectangular profiles only.
