Features:
The GC-CVC2.1 is a universally configurable, two-channel, synchronous
analogue charge to voltage converter. The principle of operation is the
excitation of the capacitive sensor element and the measurement of the
resuming charge flow.

This Mixed Signal IC consists of the following functional blocks:
Digital part with SPI interface, registers, EEPROM cell, clock
generator and automatic sequence control
Power-On-Reset, internal reference voltage generation via adjustable band gap
11 bit ADC with six parallel Sample-and-Hold circuits
Driver to generate the sensor excitation voltages for normal operation and self-test mode
Two charge amplifiers with adjustable sensor offset- and integration capacities
Two Sample-and-Hold amplifiers
Two operational amplifiers for signal conditioning
Two Rail-to-Rail output amplifiers
Analogue multiplexer for selecting test and reference voltages
Temperature sensor
Block to support SIL (Safety Integrity Level) relevant operation and test sequences (self-test during
Power-ON, redundant operation of two inversely phased sensor elements of the same sensitive axis )
