Microphone Type 40DP (Fig. 1) is 3 !4-inch pressure microphone with a widc frequency responsc (see Fig. 2) and a large dynamic range. Us tiny physical size (see Fig. 1) reduces to a mini-muni Oie effects of diffractions and reflections cre-ated by its prsence in the sound field. Tins allows it to be used for measuring very-high frequency sounds without disturbing the sound field, Its low sensitivity makes it id驩al for high-level measurements. Tliis. combined with its wide frequency responsc inake it also wcll suited for impulse-noise measurements.
