Introduction
The SCB-1901 is Intel® Sandy Bridge-EP / Ivy Bridge-EP Xeon processor (code name: Coleto Creek) platform.
This platform is developed for maximum performance, scalability and functionality in 2U network service appliance.
SCB-1901 built with two Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 or E5-2600V2 series processor and support Intel® QuickPath
Interconnects running up to 8.0GT/s speeds. Intel® QPI (Quick Path Interconnect) links are a high
speed,point-to-point interconnect bus between the processor and chipset to reduce memory socket latency
and to increase performance. The E5-2600V2 series processor is up to 12 cores, 30MB cache and total with 80 PCIe
lanes. Each E5-2600 / E5-2600V2 processor support four DDR3 memory (up to 1600/1866 MHz) and maximum
memory capacity is up to 128 GB.
In order to meet three communication need as application, control and packet processing to provides hardware
acceleration services for more efficient cryptographic / compression performance, SCB-1901 support
Intel® QuickAssist Technology and Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600/E5-2600V2 and Intel® Communication
chipset DH89xx. In addition, SCB-1901 support one 2.5” SATA hard disks or solid state drives and can choose
different types of expansion module; such as 10Gigabit SFP+, Gigabit copper with BYPASS function and Gigabit
fiber ports. The max. Ethernet port for SCB-1901 is 56 GbE ports.
