Weighing only two pounds, theModel 227 features a sensitivity of 0.3 micron (227B) or a sensitivity of 0.5 micron݋(227A), is fully self-contained, and uses reliable laser diode technology. It connectsto a remote printer or computer, and can be part of a facility-monitoring system.The Model 227 counts two sizes of particles simultaneously. Sample timescan be set for up to 24 hours. Count data are stored in memory for easy transfer to aprinter or computer. To make the most of its portability, the Model 227 features severalcounting modes for quick analysis of cleanroom conditions. The concentration mode݋gives a continuously updated approximation of the number of particles per cubic footor per liter. The approximation is based on a user-selectable sample period of one toten seconds. In the auto mode, it automatically takes a specified number of samples݋and stops, allowing unattended operation. The average mode calculates the average,minimum, and maximum count after a specified number of samples.In beep mode, the Model 227 sounds a beep each time it counts a specifiednumber of particles. This is useful for locating leaks in filters.To protect your cleanroom, the Model 227 contains an exhaust filter.
