More Than the Sum of its Parts:
Individual System Solutions by Bürkert.
Especially for die casting lines the cooling
influences the part quality very much. In
dependance of the number of the cooling lines and
the coolant itself (water or water/air mixture) the
Buerkert engineers configure the most effective
solution. Specially designed for such applications
Buerkert developed modular valve bodies with
orifice size DN10, DN20 and DN25 which can be
adapted to the customers application perfectly.
Depending on the number of cooling circuits, the
available space and the water quality the best solution based on a broad range
of Bürkert valves can be configured. In additon it is possible to integrate
sensors for Water- or air flow, temperature or pressure and have it automatically
controlled by the unique controller Type 8611.
Control systems for Gas
Bürkert offers Mass Flow Controller (MFC) and Mass
Flow Meter (MFM) with three different sensor designs
based on the thermal measurement principle. This allows
to cover an expanded flow range for the different kind of
gases. MFCs work perfectly. They can be used also in
rough environment.
Type 8400 RTD sensor
In-flow, compact temperature sensor with or without display and
remote alarm contacts. Exceptionally easy to use and boasting a
large display, temperature indication, transmission and external set
point changes at your finger tips.
Modular system 2000INOX
Bürkert’s new compact class is definitely generous with its
charms – but a miser with its space requirements. The modular
block system is based around the Type 2000 INOX valve. These
features make it perfectly suited for all kinds of fluidic solutions
– for example distributing, diverting or mixing. Additionally the integration of filters, sensors or check valves is easy possible.
Solenoid On/Off valves
for clean fluids
Direct acting or servoassisted 2/2 or 3/2-way solenoid
valves - Allows partial opening of the diaphragm with 0 psi
differential pressure. Perfect for standard potable water applications and is available with Brass or SS Body with sizes
ranging to DN40 and 0 - 230 psi (0-16bar).

With the PI-Controller 8611 it is possible to
set the exact coolant flow in combinatin with
all Buerkert valves or sensors. The controller is available in assembly versions like Panel mount(1/16 DIN cut-out), Fitting mount (direct mounting on flow meter), valve mount
(direct mounting on proportional valve, wall
mount or DIN-rail mount.
Flow meter technology for
water or air
Depending on the required accuracy and the
water/air quality, Bürkert offers the right solution.
Depending on the required accuracy and the
water quality the very established paddle wheel
flow meter like Type 8011/8012 or the new very
innovative ultrasonic flow meter Type 8081 without
moving parts are the perfect choice for measuruing
the coolant flow and quarantees a perfect mix of
water and air for an optimal cooling.
Process Control valves
Reliable and maintenance-free pneumatically
operated angle seat or globe valve. Available
within both gunmetal and SS ranging from
DN 06 to 65. High flow rates, self adjusting
packing and high sealing integrity make them
perfect for cooling applications also in polluted
cooling fluids. The valve is available for On/Off
solutions as well as control valve for precise
setting of the coolant flow in combination with
control head or positioner.
Solenoid control valves
Direct-acting or servo-assisted proportional valves can be used as a control valve for
process control and is suitable for technical vacuum. Low hysteresis, high repeatability and high sensitivity ensure superior
regulation behavior.
Solenoid valves for contaminated fluids
Direct acting or servoassisted 2/2 or 3/2-way solenoid valves - Long service life is assured with separating diaphragm which isolates solenoid from operating fluid are making this valve perfect for slightly
contaminated fluids. Lockable manual override and
freely adjustable opening and closing times for accurate adapting to the customer application.
