--FANUC robot for TURBO line and S.C.A.R.A. robot for LS line guarantee total reliability.
--With the automatic head changeover, the system includes two wrapping heads: the reel
changeover takes place automatically, safely and without stopping production.
--Possibility to use 60 kg reels doubles the number of handled pallets.
--The Film Quality Sensing Function (FQS) selects the most appropriate wrapping program according to the quality of the film to be used, minimizing machine downtime due
to film breaks.

--SILKWORM provides for an optimized utilization of the volumes, guaranteeing the pallet
stability even in multi-layer storage situations.
--The Anti-Twist System minimizes the torsion caused by the film stretch, particularly on
half-pallets and quarter pallets, optimizing truck loading and pallet handling in traditional
and automatic warehouses.

real time, assuring the best performance for every product.

--The use of 1000 mm film reels reduces the numbers of wrapping turns to be applied on
the product, reducing film consumption.
--The reduced operational speed and the limited number of moving parts of the
SILKWORM system guarantee a major reduction in maintenance costs.
--The SILKWORM modularity allows upgrades to existing systems without modifying the
main installation. Spare parts, use and handling quality are the same for every model.

QUALITY

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

--The wrapping head allows an available film band of 900 mm and greater uniformity in
the thickness of the pre-stretched film, assuring excellent performance.
--The Virtual Dancer Roller Function (VDR) improves the wrapping quality preserving
the original shape of the product on the pallet.
--SILKWORM can be equipped with roping technology, that allows the wrapping head to
create a physical “rope” in order to increase load stability.

--BEMA Technological Lab is an exclusive service conceived for our customers: in this Lab
are available a SILKWORM system and a simulation station for testing the stability of the
pallets.
--BEMA Wrapping Academy is available for our customers to illustrate BEMA systems,
stretch film usage, wrapping techniques and tools for conditioning quality control.
