nnnnDescription
nnnnBARTEC compact radiators are used as anti-
nnnnfreezing and anticondensate heaters in potentially
nnnnexplosive areas. Their use guarantees maximum
nnnnoperating safety, since temperature fluctuations
nnnnare effectively prevented or the required minimum
nnnntemperatures are maintained.
nnnnThey reliably ensure that no malfunctioning
nnnnthrough leakage current in electrical components,
nnnnor other disturbances through corrosion
nnnnformation on mechanical installation parts, can
nnnnoccur.
nnnnPlaces of use include switch and control cabinets,
nnnntransmitter protective boxes, measuring
nnnnequipment, analytical cabinets for sample
nnnnpreparation etc.
nnnnFunction
nnnnThe thermostat located in the connection cable
nnnnkeeps the inside temperature in the required
nnnnrange and reliably prevents overshooting the
nnnnpermissible ambient temperature of the heater.
nnnnIn order to prevent accumulation of heat the
nnnnspecified fitting distances must be observed. Do
nnnnnot cover the fins, in order that free convection is
nnnnnot hindered. For applications involving higher
nnnnholding temperatures, please contact us.
nnnnConstruction
nnnnThe radiators are fitted with a constant ohmic
nnnnresistance. Through the special construction of
nnnnthe aluminium profile a chimney effect is
nnnnproduced which gives a uniform temperature
nnnndistribution in the interior of enclosures and
nnnncabinets.
nnnnIn case of overheating, the heaters are
nnnnpermanently isolated from the mains supply, since
nnnnthe heat source is coupled with a temperature
nnnnsafety fuse.
