nnnnOxidized/Stabilized PAN Fiber (OPAN)
nnnnDescription
nnnnPyron® continuous tow fibers are oxidized / stabi-
nnnnlized PAN fibers (OPAN) that are inherently fire
nnnnresistant, thermally stable, exhibit excellent resis-
nnnntance to chemicals and solvents and are electri-
nnnncally nonconductive. Available crimped or
nnnnuncrimped, Pyron® continuous tow is suitable for
nnnnstretch breaking into yarn, milling into pulp,
nnnnchopping into short fibers or crimping & cutting
nnnninto staple fibers for nonwovens or yarn spinning
