This version of the P&ID library add-on includes a symbol library dedicated to

creating design diagrams Industrial Process ("Process and Instrumentation

Diagram", P&ID) and flowcharts for process Hydraulic ("Process Flow

Diagram" PFD). With this new P&ID library add-on, thanks to elecworks™ cross

references, you can integrate the hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical controls with

each component in the same project, using a single software application.

Furthermore elecworks™ generates all the necessary documentation for your

project and manages all the technical data which may be exported to different

formats.

Symbol library

The symbol library for P&ID includes more than 500 items created from different

international standards (ISA/ANSI, ISO, etc.). These symbols belong to the family of

"Process and Instrumentation" and facilitate documenting the industrial processes

and flow diagrams in an intuitive and simplified way. Complies with standards

ANSI/ISA-S5.1-1984 (R 2009) and ISO 10628 (R 1997).

There is an original classification of these elements in a tree for each family and

subfamily of symbols. You can select quickly and intuitively any item you need to

generate the outline or flowchart for. Symbols are inserted dynamically, simply

select the command dialog box, select / drag and insert in the schematice. Each

symbol element is assigned connection points and their corresponding attributes

depending on the functionality of the element as can be seen in the examples below.
