Absolute Gauges & Leak Detectors
For improving quality and productivity in the vacuum applications for composites
GDH200-14 absolute pressure gauge
(precision pressure gauge for low pressures)
Absolute pressure gauges use the absolute zero of pressure as their
reference datum and measure pressure independently of altitude and
weather conditions.
In composites manufacturing applications, absolute pressure gauges
can be used to:
•t Provide faster and more precise leak test (drop test) results
•t Diagnose water and solvent vapour problems causing porosity
•t Identify incomplete or inconsistent laminate evacuation causing dry areas
•t Check vacuum pump performance.
GDH200-14 specification
Measuring ranges (absolute pressures)
•t 0-11,000 mbar. Resolve to 1 mbar
•t 0-11 bar. Resolve to 0.001 bar
•t 0-8,250 mm Hg. Resolve to 1 mm
•t 0-160 psi. Resolve to 0.02 psi
Max pressure
•t 13 bar absolute
Accuracy
•t +3 mbar at 25°C (77°F)
•t +0.3% of full scale within +25°C temperature variation
•t Calibration can be improved with access to a high vacuum pump capable of
less than 1 mbar
Connection
•t Suits 4 mm (5/32”) ID tube at gauge
•t Supplied as standard with 6 mm OD tube terminating with ant
8 mm (5/16”) OD male stem compatible with O-ring sealed t
compressed air sockets
Power supply
•t 9 V DC battery (included)
•t Auto power off
