The Thermo Scientific range of slurry
Thermo Scientific Pressure
Pipe and Gravity Samplers
Sampling Systems for Slurry Applications
Benefits
• A wide range of sizes are available to handle most flow rates
• Compact size compared with most other samplers
• Lower initial cost than most other samplers.
• A range of cutter or nozzle sizes are available to enable
correct sample flow to match the application
Features
• Reliable operation requiring little
supervision and maintenance
• The Gravity Sampler has an inspection
port to easily clean cutters and
monitor performance.
• The Pressure Pipe Sampler nozzles are
replaceable and are made from wear
resistant cast polyurethane with a
tapered bore to reduce blockages.
Thermo Scientific Process Control
Samplers are a low cost alternative when
metallurgical sampling is not required.
Lined with 6mm rubber and finished with
epoxy paint the process control samplers
can be used to provide a feed sample for
the Thermo Scientific MSA multi-stream
analyzer. Incorporating table D or E flanges
as standard, both Samplers can be fitted
with separate continuous and backwash
sample valves.
Pressure Pipe Sampler
The Thermo Scientific Pressure Sampler
is used when the slurry stream is under
pressure from a pump. The Pressure
Sampler incorporates three turbulence bars to
ensure the slurry is well mixed. Three sizes of
polyurethane sample nozzles are supplied to
manage the sample flow rate, each featuring
a tapered hole to minimize blockages.
Gravity Feed Sampler
The Thermo Scientific Gravity Sampler uses
a single or double fixed cutter to sample the
slurry flow. The cutters are easily replaceable
through an inspection point located on top
to the unit.
Representative Sampling
For representative sampling of streams
for metallurgical accounting, or prior to a
Thermo Scientific Particle Size monitor,
we would recommend the Thermo Scientific
SamStat-20 or AnStat-220 product ranges.
