nnPRODUCT DESCRIPTION nnMultiple Probe Feedthrough Assembly
The MHM series of feedthroughs have been designed to allow multiple probes of either identical or different diameters, access to a process vessel via a single entry. Sealing is based upon soft sealant technology and this employs various materials which take into consideration the process conditions in order to achieve this When applying torque to the cap nut it forces the follower to move in a longitudinal direction This in turn forces the sealant against a seperate in-ternal seat located in the bore of the gland body. The resultant force causes the sealant to deform and close down on the probe/element and expand into the bore of the body producing a pressure/vacuum bar-rier. With the exception of Lava and Grafoil, the other sealants are re-usable. Applications : thermocouples, RTDΒs, analytical probes, sensor elements, capillary tubes. Product code : MHM >
