General
The SEU-CGS Spectrometer Electronics USB for the
Carl Zeiss CGS Spectral Sensor is a powerful and
compact spectral data acquisition controller with a HiSpeed USB interface.
Using the Spectrometer Electronics USB, the PC is able
to control the Spectral Sensor connected and to acquire
spectral data. Once parameterized and started by the
PC, the data acquisition controller provides a fully autonomous management of the selected readout cycle. It
generates the control signals for the image sensor,
preprocesses the analog video signal and performs
analog / digital conversion.
All configuration settings are stored in an onboard nonvolatile memory.

PC and Power Requirements
For operation, a PC with a free USB port and Windows
8 / 7 (32 / 64 bit), Vista (32 bit) or XP is required. HiSpeed USB communication is recommended.
