DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
Il Rivelatore LISA 2 sfrutta il principio della spettrometria
infrarosso (IR) per rilevare la presenza di sostanze infiammabili
(Metano, GPL, Propano, Butano ecc.) o di Anidride Carbonica
(CO2). I valori misurati e linearizzati posso essere espressi in
%LEL o %Volume per gli idrocarburi; per l'Anidride carbonica i
valori posso essere espressi sia in ppm sia in %Volume.
Realizzato in contenitore con coperchio finestrato, lo strumento
consente la lettura immediata della concentrazione rilevata sul
display a 4 digit.
Il LISA 2 usa un sensore ottico di grandi prestazioni che opera
nella regione IR secondo il principio che lega la concentrazione
del gas di interesse all’assorbimento della radiazione emessa
da una opportuna sorgente. La radiazione ottica della sorgente,
passando attraverso l’atmosfera gassosa, subisce, infatti,
un’attenuazione a causa dell’assorbimento da parte delle
molecole del gas. Tale assorbimento si manifesta in maniera
selettiva e caratteristica solo su ben precise lunghezze d’onda
che sono proprie di ogni composto gassoso. Il grado di
attenuazione della radiazione è tanto maggiore quanto
maggiore è il numero di molecole assorbenti presenti nel
volume attraversato dal fascio ottico ovvero quanto maggiore è
la concentrazione di gas. Dalla misura dell’attenuazione
operata a ben definite lunghezze d’onda è pertanto possibile
risalire in maniera precisa alla concentrazione del gas di
interesse.
L’unità di elaborazione alla quale il trasduttore è collegato è
dotata di microprocessore che, oltre al normale funzionamento,
è provvista di algoritmi software per la gestione del sensore
Infrarosso.
Il rivelatore LISA 2 consente una taratura in campo non
intrusiva tramite sensori ad effetto Hall. Non è pertanto
necessario né aprire lo strumento né mettere l'area in sicurezza
per poter operare sullo strumento stesso.
I rivelatori serie LISA 2 sono certificati ATEX per Gruppo II 2 e
3 GD
Il rivelatore fornisce un’uscita proporzionale in corrente (4-20
mA). L’alimentazione di LISA 2 può essere da 12 a 24 Vdc.
The LISA 2 gas detector exploits the Infrared spectrometry
technique to detect the presence of flammable compounds
(Methane, LPG, Butane, Propane etc.) or Carbon Dioxide
(CO2). The measured and linearised values can be expressed
as %LEL or % Volume for Hydrocarbons and in ppm or %
volume for the CO2. The detector is supplied with a transparent
front cover. A 4-digit LCD display provides real time
concentration readout.
The LISA 2 uses the latest generation optical sensor which
operates in the IR region, following the principle of the
association between the concentration of a specific gas and the
absorption of radiation emitted by a suitable source. The optical
radiation from the source is in fact attenuated, when it passes
through a gaseous atmosphere, due to the absorption by the
gas molecules. This absorption is characteristic and selective of
a very precise wavelength, which pertains to each compound.
The greater is the radiation attenuation the higher is the number
of molecules present in the volume penetrated by the optical
beam. In other words, the amount of absorption is proportional
to the gas concentration. Indeed, it is possible to determine
precisely the concentration of a particular gas from the
absorption measurement when carried out at a well defined
wavelength.
A highly performing electronic board is used to elaborate the
signal from the Infrared Micro-spectrometer sensor. At the core
of the detector is a powerful microprocessor that provides builtin
features.
The LISA 2 features non intrusive calibration for an accurate
and easy calibration without opening the instrument and
declassifying the area. Non intrusive calibration employs Hall
effect switches.
LISA 2 gas detectors are fully ATEX certified for Group II 2 and
3 GD
The detector provides a 4-20 mA output signal and its power
supply can be at 12 - 24 Vdc.
