ShadoCam Imaging Software

nnThe ShadoCam Imaging Software is available free of charge to help you get up
and running quickly with your Rad-icon x-ray camera. ShadoCam provides basic
imaging functionality such as image acquisition and display, offset and flat-field
corrections, image statistics, printing and file I/O. Images are displayed and stored
in 16-bit integer format to preserve the full dynamic range of the camera. You can
export image bitmaps via the clipboard or in various formats for use in other appli-
cations. Check our website for the latest ShadoCam version, which includes full sup-port for our Shad-o-Box, Shad-o-Snap, SkiaGraph and Remote RadEye cameras. ShadoCam Functions: ٕ File Menu - New, open, close, save, export, and print image files.
Edit Menu - Copy to clipboard, duplicate, image statistics (histogram,either for the entire image or a selected region-of- interest), line profile, threshold (replace individual pixels above or below a certain value).Օ View Menu - Toggle toolbars, zoom in or out, mirror or rotate image.
Acquisition Menu - Set exposure time, acquire single, multiple (averaged)or continuous images, live video preview, toggle image corrections,
set acquisition preferences.Օ Calibration Menu - Controls for offset, flat-field (gain) and pixel corrections, load and save calibration files.

This product guide introduces our diverse product lines of CMOS x-ray image sensors and digitalcameras. In 2000, the company introduced its first product the RadEye1 ֖ an x-ray sensor based on
CMOS technology designed to replace CCDs, and the first application of this technology was for
surgical biopsy x-ray imaging to detect calcifications and tissue irregularities. Since then, Rad-icon
introduced the RadEye family of high-resolution sensors along with complementary product lines of
Shad-o-Boxٙ and Shad-o-Snap x-ray cameras, and in 2008, the company introduced the
SkiaGraph8ٙ Very Large Area (VLA) x-ray camera with an 8x 8Ԕ active sensing area, faster clock rates,
lower noise, and higher sensitivity than competing devices on the market. Rad-icons products address
diverse applications such as industrial inspection, non-destructive testing, medical imaging, electronics

RadEyeՙ Large-Area Image Sensors

nnThe RadEye large-area image sensors are fully integrated CMOS photodiodearrays designed for both visible and radiation imaging. The large active area
consists of a 512 by 1024 matrix of silicon photodiodes on either 48 m
(RadEye1) or 96 յm (RadEye100) centers. The sensors are designed with
extremely narrow edges along three sides to allow tiling in two dimensions, in
order to achieve even larger active areas. Used directly to detect visible light, or
with a scintillator to detect x-rays and other energetic radiation, the RadEye sen-
sors are the perfect solution for applications ranging from medical diagnostics to
industrial inspection (NDT) and scientific imaging.The RadEye image sensors include control logic and readout circuitry that allowthem to run off a single 5 V power supply and a master clock. An optional frame
start input can be used to control the frame rate externally. Afast-scan mode, a
high-speed binning (sparse sampling) mode, and a non-destructive readout
mode further add to the flexibility of these devices. Video data is read out
