Material
PVC
PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride, and it contains halogens. PVC has a natural flame decreasing property. It has a long life span and is sufficiently resistant to climatic factors. The PVC material is calcium and zinc stabilised. The softened PVC material contains a Di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate softener. The material is strong and flexible. Temperatures below +60°C (140°F) are recommended working temperatures. PVC is recyclable and can be remelted several times. The above information
applies to non-printed material only.
ZEREX - Halogen free
Polyether-based thermoplastic, a compound of polyurethane (tpu). Zerex is a halogen free flame proof extrusion compound developed for applications requiring limited smoke and toxin generation. The temperature range is –30°C to +90°C (–22°F to +194°F) . It has been approved for use in the subway systems of New York. The above information applies to non-printed material only. Product with a Z is halogen free, such as PAZ, PKZ, POZ, PTZ etc.
